Volcanoes mag-me excited

HOLIDAY WRAP-UP

Mmm, not quite sure how to feel. I'm sitting here with all my new stationary in my clean room with my summer uniform hanging on my door, about to embark into my final year of high school. This is truly the strangest thing. Despite the huge amount of work and stress I'm about to encounter, I am optimistically excited to get it all over and done with and move into the real world. But before I do, I think a holiday wrap-up is in order to show the odd photos I have collected that did not make it into my previous posts.
First day of holidays, sisters birthday at Balmoral Boatshed
First outing with my new and already beloved TRIANGL bikini
Bunny Shenanigans at my friends house (while she was away haha)
Crazy Sydney sunset, one of the most phenomenal I have seen
The Rum Diary  (2011) - speaks words of wisdom
A Spring holiday playlist to boot
I hope everyone who had holidays enjoyed them. If you, like me, are about to start Year 12, then I wish you the best of luck, we can do this!! LOTS OF LOVE -J

17

Belated birthday post, but nonetheless had a really great day. I caught the ferry with 4 friends to the city for yumcha, got some lovely presents, wore a crown all day and enjoyed a quiet night in, just enjoying being 17.

What is with the snails??? I am confused by them and yet I respect them.

Scored myself a mixtape from my lovely friend. Prepared to say it was one of the most clique but awesome teenage moments of my life. It was made basically for the sole purpose that I could listen to it when I got my P's and...........
I GOT THEM! First time lucky, despite the fact that I did the test in torrential Sydney rain. In true teenager tradition there was a celebratory maccas run and then a bit of fast food with a view. Terrifying, and awesome, woohoo.

THIS PARTY WAS INTENTS - literally

Kicked off the holidays with a overnight party on a farm, which was something I have never done before, and the whole time couldn't get over the fact that I had been allowed.  The 5 hour train ride was a bit of a chore, but the fact that 40 other people I knew were on the same train made it a bit easier. As the dress code was Woodstock the girls adorned themselves in flowers and stick on jewels, and me being a person who loves to dress up, this was very exciting and something I got quite into. The setting of our arrival was a flat paddock, a setting sun and 20 or so tents. This lead into a great night which went on well into the morning, and I can't say I slept much at all. Then when the sun rose we all packed up, hopped on the train, With pictures on our dying phones, sleeping bags in our packs and crystals still stuck to our tired faces we made the journey back home.

Chilla Weekend

Friday night glowstick shenanigans with my lovely

Damn Sydney you look nice

Black and White Weekend

I've had a bit of a liberal weekend (Australian voters mind the pun) but my parents have been away so my usually short leash was let go a bit. Friday night I went to my friends house for her birthday so I was given a lift by my other friend who picked me up in her massive Jeep with the music blasting, I felt extremely gangster its fair to say. After several hours of eating and talking, we went to North Head lookout to a 180 degree view of harbour and buildings all lit up in the night, it was amazing!

"Quick guys pose for this picture"
Sitting on the Jeeps bonnet being rad and looking at Sydney
Saturday was extremely busy with French class in the morning and play rehearsals in the afternoon. But I managed to go to my friends 17th Birthday Pres with my whole group, it was fun and very loud. I was really happy with my outfit feeling suave in my sister white leather skirt and amazing flatforms with Westwood inspired wings adorned on them. Also thought I'd dip in to the 90's and bring back the choker, I got heaps of compliments on it so I'm feeling that its a go.

Today its been pretty lazy as a Sunday should be, walking my dog, getting coffee, sorting books. Also went to Bondi with my friend to do something exciting, but I might talk about that later...maybe. I'm sorry all the photos are in black and white, it made them all look better quality and all gave a bit of uniformity.
HAVE A GREAT WEEK x -J

Up Hill Battle

No doubt it has been an up-hill trek of several weeks to get where I am now. My exams are over! I am 3 weeks away from finishing year 11 and 25 days away from being 17. This for me is the best time of year, because I am Springs #1 fan, and its fair to say that spring has sprung. The fact that I'm going to be in year 12 very soon is slowly sinking in, its exciting and terrifying, but I am really happy with my subjects and the marks I have been consistently getting, so bring it on. Here is just a few snaps from the past few weeks that I have gathered but only now do I have enough time to sit and blog about my life. ENJOY xx - J

1. My sister snapped this photo of me when I was attempting to teach her about the Cuban Revolution (modern history study)
2. My French study spot on my day off, it was a perfect day and the view (as you can see) was spectacular
3. I'm a bit of a cloud enthusiast and this sunset was insane, snapped it on the way home from drama rehearsals
4. End of exams celebrations after French at the lovely cafe "La Renaissance" with friends and a $7 dollar raspberry tart
5. Last but not least - my bikini arrived and I am so happy that it fits. However not allowed to wear it for another 25 days. BIRTHDAY PLEASE COME SOON!!

Itsy-Bisty-Teeny-Weeny

Calling for a bit of a celebration for the online purchase of my new Triangl bikini. I've been deliberating for months about this baby, perfect fabric, cut, colour, and final put the order through. Now its just the trials and tribulations of 3-7 working days. Also, in reality, its a birthday present, meaning I can't actually wear it out for 34 days (27th September, save the date) but still....doesn't mean I can't look at it...or touch it....or try it on......ah. Traingl bikinis are a pretty good price (especially in comparison to Seafolly, Jets etc.) but still my dad made a joke about how itsy-bitsy it was for the price he was paying but that's bikini's papa..sigh when will you learn. So I'm declaring this post a bit of ode to bikini bodies, or in the case of some of the pictures ..sans bikni bodies. I'm all round excited for it to get warmer, I'm talking Spring and then Summer, and these pictures encapsulate that feeling so well, I can almost smell the hot sun on concrete.
